Programs of Study
High
School students follow a bilingual (Arabic/English) program
culminating in the award of the High School Diploma. In
addition, the school offers students the opportunity to
study for the I.B. Diploma or certificates in selected
subjects. With
the exception of Arabic (language and literature), Arabic
Social Studies and Religion, all courses are taught through
the medium of English. The range of subjects on offer are
highlighted below under Graduation Requirements. Science
courses include: Chemistry, Physics and Biology, taken by all
students. Environmental Science and Human Biology.
Geography and History are studied in Grades 9 and 10
respectively. The Electives Program provides opportunities
for students to choose from Sociology, Islamic History and
Psychology. Fine Arts electives include Art, Music, Drama,
Speech and Creative Writing. The choice of electives varies
and depends on students' interests, further education
choices and graduation requirements.
