Based upon a
recommendation from the Middle States Association of
Colleges and Schools (MSA) when the school was accredited
K-8. Mrs. Sameera Al-Kooheji, the owner and president of NIS,
who has been managing the school since it was established in
1981, worked on forming the school first Advisory Board.
Since then
the board has played an important role in providing advice
to the school leadership on matters related to school
policies and future plans.
